2 complete motor kits with batteries available for $950 per kit: (bike is sold, but shows what it looks like installed)
CYC X1 Stealth 1500 watt mid drive motor (2000 watts max) with 150 N.m torque(the best bosch, shimano and yamaha mid drives are about 80nm), super small and light with ASI BAC855 Controller. Less than 10 hours of use- like new. Throttle, display, torque sensor and magnet all included. 5 pedal assist modes with torque sensing and full throttle override. These motors sit up high under the frame unlike most after-market mid-drives which hang down below the sprocket. THE MOTOR CAN BE USED ON ANY BIKE WITH A 68-73mm BSA THREADED BOTTOM BRACKET. Takes about an hour and a half to install first time - must know bike basics like crank and bottom bracket removal and have related bike tools.
Battery – Both batteries have less than 10 charge cycles and have been stored properly with 40-60% charge. 52 Volt 20 Amp hour = 1040 Watt hours! Battery has 50 Amp BMS – which is a perfect match to motor. Rigid plastic case included to protect batteries during transit and use. Includes battery charger and all XT60 cable connections needed to carry batteries in a backpack. The batteries are far better in a backpack, this keeps bike weight down.
****These motors have far more power than any commercial electric bike. These are not street legal at 1500+ watts (CA street legal motor limit is 750 watts). We rode responsibly on the trails and never had any issues. There are no speed limiters or brake cut-offs.**** I’ll be happy to connect the motors to the display and throttles so you can see them work. I’ll also describe the install and wire routing to help you get going. There are install videos online that you can watch and pause, that’s how I learned. You need to have a crank remover and bottom bracket wrench ($20 bucks on Amazon if you need them, but I’d recommend a bike specific tool kit for around $60 that will have extra tools that make bike mods much easier)
