Original 1988 DAVE SIMONS Flash Gordon comics, Alex Raymond - 24" x 30"

One of a kind, iconic 1988 pen/ink/watercolor work by the late great Dave Simons.

Dave Simons (1954 - 2009) was an American comic book artist known for his work on Conan, Ghost Rider, Red Sonja, and Spider-Man for Marvel Comics and Forgotten Realms for DC Comics.

This piece is unusual for Dave Simons' work in that it is very large and in full color. Also, he did not do Flash Gordon commercially, so this might be thought of as a tribute to Alex Raymond.
