For both girls and boys, this was part of an old series Teach Yourself Books from the UK. This is the rare 1965 version of the 1950 UK original. Wonderful color artwork explaining everything about a kitchen, tools, how to set a table, and lots more, including step-by-step useful visual instruction with precious four-color stylized artwork. There is a glued, brief printed summary inside the front cover along with a label "Van Schaik's Pretoria," and old blue library stamps. The outside yellow hardcover has some staining and foxing and the top of the first page is torn but intact, and the cover page has a library accession number stamped in black. Inside the back cover has another library stamp and a leftover library book card pocket. The book also has some foxing on the page outer edges as well as sprinkled inside but is still in decent condition considering it's age.
