I bought this locally from the original owners about eight years ago. Since that time, I have maintained it well including new sealed bearings in the valuable Philwood Bottom Brackets!
Wheels are beautiful Mavic 520's with 40 spoke Philwood Hubs...
Bike is bombproof and the original owners shared with me that they did some extensive touring on it!
Gearing is Shimano with XTR derailleurs (9 Speed) and Dura-Ace Shifters
Tires are newer 700 x 40 Ritcheys
Has the famous Ibis "handjob" rear brake boss and full braze ons for racks...
I have enjoyed the last 8 years with this bike, as it was the perfect tool to get my daughter to school and activities. (I will include a rear rack with a box in which we stored groceries, beach gear, etc...)
Frame is straight. Tange Tubing with beautiful brazing! Does have some scratches and top tube wear as pictured.
Captain (front) of bike measures about 21 inches and the rear is about 18 inches...Making it fit persons about 5'8-5'11 in the front and 4'11 to 5'3 in the back.
I am not willing to ship it...Price is pretty firm and fair (A similar one is on Ebay now for $1800) No trades...
