Clean title, new tires. The automatic transmission and engine work. Registration expired in December. it has many power options.
The engine has a knock - most likely comes from crankshaft bearing(s). It could be replaced, or brought to the machine shop and re-fit with new bearings after re-machining the crankshaft(that could run $300 to 450$). The engine will be considered re-built after replacing the head gasket with a new one, and completing a valve job on the head after the crankshaft was fixed! Head gasket repair kit is around 100$, and the valve job around 200$. Now about the engine: 4 cylinder, 2.0 Liter. Great fuel economy!
I have to let it go due to different priorities. For the Tracker enthusiasts it is evident that this project is worth time and investment. First, it is a rare vehicle, second goes for 4000 to 6000 when in good running condition.
I will consider barter for silver, running vehicle with smog, 2001 or newer Box truck with minimum 16' long box, 2001 and newer truck with 6' bed, 2001 cargo, or passenger van, golf cart, tractor, etc. Let me know what do you have.
