The Senior Accountant for Neurelis, Inc. will have primary responsibility for the operation of processes and systems supporting financial transaction processing for Aegis Therapeutics LLC, wholly owned subsidiary of Neurelis, Inc. Maintenance of the company’s general ledger, periodic financial reporting and account analysis and reconciliation.
Accounting of the operations of Neurelis, Inc.’ wholly owned subsidiary, including executing and recording cash disbursements for vendors and suppliers.
Executing and recording monthly invoicing and management of accounts receivable.
Tracking inventory transactions; preparing various calculations for company’s obligations;
Preparing monthly account reconciliations and the monthly management reporting and financial statements.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining company-wide general ledger accounts; assisting in company-wide month-end closing process as needed.
Working on ad hoc projects as needed.
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
4-7 years of accounting experience
Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes setup and operations
CPA preferred; Previous public accounting experience is a plus
Personal integrity, teamwork abilities, collaboration skills; Must be able to organize and prioritize.
The ability to work effectively and efficiently in a start-up environment
