Currently seeking an experienced Part Time Accounts Receivable Clerk for a well-established construction company to join our team. Wages commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities include:
• Processes billings and obtain releases and requirements for subcontractor payments.
• Familiar with AIA forms and reporting procedures.
• Preparation of AIA G702/703 Contract billings and associated customer specific paperwork including review and processing of change orders.
• Preparation of time and material billings and all related activities.
• Researches and solves accounting discrepancies.
• Maintains 100% transparency by organizing and maintaining files, reports, spreadsheets and logs.
• Support for special projects within accounting department including accounts payable and other projects as assigned.
• Assist in additional related tasks as assigned to support the day to day workflow of the accounting department.
• Work closely with PMs, Subcontractors and Vendors
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers in the execution of all duties.
Requirements:
• Minimum 1-2 years Construction Accounting Experience.
• Construction administration experience with sufficient understanding of industry practices, terminology and procedures.
• Strong computer skills with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Extremely detail oriented and self-starter.
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness with minimum supervision.
