New Alternatives #16 is looking for diverse, enthusiastic, and motivated individuals to work with severely emotionally disturbed adolescents in a sub-acute psychiatric residential setting. These adolescents come into our program from unfortunate circumstances such as physical, sexual, emotional abuse and neglect along with multiple previously failed placements. New Altenatives provides paid trainings to gain experience using positive behavioral modification while working in a strength based program.
Job Duties include:
-Direct care and supervision of residents.
-Facilitation of therapeutic group actctivities
-Participation in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings.
-Provide a safe, stable, and caring environment.
Bachelor Degree in Behavioral Science or equivilant required
Experince working with children and/or adolescents required
