This is an original flight jacket from 1964. Has Conroy zipper. USN stamped in the leather strip under the zipper. The name of the flier, the mission and the deployment is written in ink on the inside of the jacket. The tag inside reads: Jacket,Flying,Man's Intermediate,Type G-1 Spec. Mil-J-7823C(WEP) FSN 8415-268-7800 Ralph Edwards Sptswear, Inc. Contract No.DSA-1-4342-64-C Size 42 I believe the (WEP) on the tag means it was under the Weapons Department. I have the information on the VAW-11 DET N that is written inside the jacket and the carrier he was on. This is the real thing and the jacket is in great condition!ph.(619)425-8053 Bob
