I just finished up my PhD from UCSD and was booted from student housing. Now, I need to find a place to live, while I look for a job. I would like to believe I can get a job in San Diego, but since the possibility of moving is pretty real, I figure it is best to find a flexible, short term housing. Then when I get a job, I will either move out of town or maybe move into my own place (unless things are just perfect whereever I am at, and we decide to make it long term). Ideally I would be to stya up to 3 or 4 months in case it takes that long, but I'd like to think 1 or 2 months should be enough.

As for my lifestyle and about me:
I'm a 27/m who likes to think that I'm not your normal boring UCSD grad student... I'm a fun, outgoing guy, who always like to stay busy. I love running, hiking, camping, skiing, surfing, being at the beach, going out with friends, and, of course, karaoke (but only once I have had a few drinks). I don't like to lounge around the house, so you won't find me sitting in the living room watching tv all day and night. I am also very responsible and considerate. Never late with payments (I am completely financially independent) and always very considerate. I never leave messes in common areas. I can be a bit of a night owl at times, but I would never be loud or make any noise at late hours. If you want to know anything else about me, feel free to ask.

Minimum furnishings are needed in the bedroom(s), but we will also need a big party space for the reception.
- we will be decorating the house and any adjoining outside area(s) with wedding stuff and flowers, but we will make sure it's all gone when our time is up (we won't destroy anything, but we'll pay a deposit if you like).
- we will have a few kids there but no animals or anything strange;
- we will be having a reception late into the night on June 12 (we'll try to keep the noise down, but it might be a good idea to warn the neighbors just in case, if they're really close), but other than that, we won't have any potential noise any of the other nights.
- we really need a place that either has a large yard immediately adjacent to the beach, or steps or a ramp down to the beach itself. I don't care if it's in IB, PB, Carlsbad or whatever, as long as it's within the county and has access to the sand. We will be getting married at sunset, so the view and the ability to get back to the house easily and in an expensive dress is key. :)
