This is ridiculously simple-but everything in MX is 100 times harder than in the states. I live in TJ. Maybe 1-2 miles from the border. ALL I need is a desk, small refridge and a double mattress moved to storage in Chula Vista. I've moved everything that could fit in my car every day this week. In fact I could even tie the mattress to the top of my car, but it's the desk that I can't manage. If someone had a pick up and put these few items in the back it would take 10 minutes. The border is obviously unpredictable, but its all of 10 miles. I live at the very north end of Revolution. One block away from the lane to go back to the US.

Large Aloe Plant Needs a Ride to Utah

We have a rather large aloe plant (already paid for) waiting to be picked up at a nursery in San Diego (Bonsall), and we need to get it here (we are in a town called Provo, UT, on I-15, about an hour south of Salt Lake City). The plant is approx.. 4 feet tall, and about 3.5 feet wide. It would be best if the plant can stay upright in a truck or in a covered trailer. However, it could be transported horizontally in the bed of a pickup (with a tarp on top of it, to protect the leaves from the wind), or in the back of a large SUV or maybe a hatchback car, if it is tied down so it won't roll around. The folks at the nursery will load it in the vehicle for you. We will unload it for you when you get here. You will have no heavy lifting to do. It is important that the leaves not break, please, as we juice the leaves for medicinal purposes. The aloe has been grown organically, so we also ask please for non-smokers. There is nothing illicit or illegal in this, we have had kind people help us out in the past with 2 other aloes, bringing them here, and we have checked with USDA and it is perfectly legal to bring aloes across state lines.

We can offer $ 40.00 (cash) to help defray gas costs, upon safe delivery of the undamaged plant. So, if you are heading to Utah and you have some extra cargo space, we would appreciate hearing from you. Please contact me if you can help us out. I will chip in the reasonable amount for gas. Most people offering rideshares make you pay the entire gas amount which is a bit unfair.
A one way trip to la jolla to orange county is 84.4 mi and at the lowest freeway mph of 20 and at the highest gas price of 3.50 the total is $13.50 for the trip.

I will be driving up to San Francisco for Thanksgiving.
At this point in time, I am not sure of the dates....I am trying to work on my boss.

I am trying to leave on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday before Tday.
Come back on Saturday to miss Sunday traffic and have a day off before going back to the grind on Monday.

I have an extended cab toyota tacoma. My dog will be in the extended part. She might lick you, so look out.
We may have to throw in a dog park stop so she can get some exercise and then pass out in the back- lucky dog.

Music will be played. I expect you to bring some of your music to entertain us.
Splitting gas is welcome.
If you want to drive for a couple hundred miles, that is fine too.
