Paradigm is seeking a senior technical writer to join our team of talented information developers. The new team member will develop information architecture and information models for hardware and software information developed in a component content management system (CCMS). The information will be expressed in a variety of forms and formats from user guides and reference manuals to online help to hardware service procedures. Candidates should be able to rapidly develop breadth of expertise in the hardware and software products comprising the data warehousing environment.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* At least 10 years as a technical writer for complex systems.
* Proficiency in DITA and an XML editor.
* Experience in the following areas highly desirable:
o Developing information in a single sourcing environment using structured writing techniques.
o Adherence to style guide.
o Data warehousing concepts.
o Project management concepts and tools.
* Experience in component content management system (Astoria Software) and content development tool (XMetaL).
* Experience in information architecture and information models.
