Desktop Support Engineer

Position Overview

In this role, you will be a key member of the IT Team, with a focus on Desktop Support.  This position is responsible for providing Front line technical customer support for call center associates as related to Windows XP, Office 2007, Messaging, PC builds, moves, and Telephone software.  This position requires weekend and evening schedule coverage due to operational needs.

Responsibilities

·         Support desktop/laptops via phone, email, and in person.

·         Ensure successful day to day user operations and related networking technologies, including timely response to incidents.

·         Demonstrated ability to maintain a customer-service focus and attitude at all times.

·         Document support issues/resolutions in TrackIT, convey user feedback to IT team.

·         Imaging and configuration of workstations, software installations, and networked printers.

Requirements

·         3+ years experience in a desktop network support environment.

·         Intermediate knowledge of XP, Office 2007, and network troubleshooting.

·         Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.

·         Ability to manage time efficiently and work with minimal supervision.

·         Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
