A fast growing San Diego/Carlsbad based software company is seeking talented Data Analyst. Qualified candidates will have extensive knowledge regarding BI, data warehousing design, transformation, administration, aggregation and data mining techniques. The Data Analyst will be responsible for ongoing delivery of current data work as well as ongoing efforts to improve data processes.
Responsibilities:
Production Data Management
• Analyzing and researching data related issues
• Proactively identify data issues and provide recommendations for resolution
Production Data Processing - Data Loads / Imports
• Design and deliver automated, configurable data integration framework
• ETL processes using SQL & SSIS
• Drive efficient & scalable execution of existing data load / import scripts
• Drive efficient and scalable execution and development of Data Quality reporting scripts
• Identify new data sources to import to support new and existing products and services
Reporting
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Run report generation scripts and export data
• Make modifications to existing reports and reporting scripts
Required Skills & Experience
• 3 or more years of relevant hands on data management / design experience
• Strong SQL Server 2005 and Transact Structured Query language (T-SQL) skills
• Strong DTS/SSIS skills
• Deep understanding of relational database concepts
• Data Analysis – Experience consolidating disparate data sets into usable data
• Ability to collaborate and communicate clearly with other team members and management
