Front-end Developer :
Duties: This person is solely responsible for the technical execution of design assets including final HTML/CSS templates and project work files. Although this is more a production than a design role, a strong visual eye and thorough understanding of how typography, layout, color impact design is also necessary. It is required that this individual is someone with fresh ideas, positive attitude, strong problems solver, and an ability to shift gears.
Using the agile methodology in an iterative approach, produce table less HTML/CSS pages from master source documents for integrating into applications
Assist in the development of standards, methodologies and repeatable processes for delivery of creative services
Build rapid prototypes in parallel while team is creating wireframes and idea sharing
Can solution solve and be able to bring fresh ideas while dealing with ambiguity
Skills: Minimum three to five years experience contributing to the creative execution of large scale web and software application user-interface design projects including eCommerce, content portals, kiosks, intranet/extranets, e-mail marketing, online advertising and web-based application design
Expertise with table less CSS, HTML, Java Script, JQuery are necessary.
Nice to have: Ruby Rails, Drupal, PHP, Open Source or CMS experience are a strong plus.
Ability to solve complex design problems and achieve the highest quality design while pushing the boundaries of rich media online applications
Solid understanding of W3C and Accessibility guidelines
Ability to work quickly but with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
Process-oriented with ability to work with different UI materials and rapid prototyping
Strong communications and organizational skills with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced production deadline-driven environment
Proficient in most MSOffice applications as well as both Windows and Mac operating systems
Education: Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Marketing/Advertising/Interactive Design/Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
