McCain is looking for a Lead Embedded Software Developer to be responsible for the development and maintenance of embedded software applications. This role will reflect a developer with significant experience and the capacity to take the role of a lead on any project.

Responsibilities:
- Function as Technical Lead Developer and participate in daily development activities.
- Implement all aspects of development including embedded system design, data communications, real-time data collection, processing and control, hardware drivers and interfacing.
- Responsible for the functional integrity and proper operation of all assigned systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of applicable work experience with at least 2+ years of experience as a Sr. Developer or Technical Team Lead in an embedded environment.
- Prior experience working with software, firmware and hardware development teams.
- Real-time embedded Linux experience, Linux application level code development experience, and high proficiency in C programming language.
- Knowledge of microprocessor and microcontroller programming, architecture, and associated hardware interfacing including serial, USB and network interfaces, TCP/IP related protocols.
- Strong debugging and problem solving skills.
- Must have strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and multiplex effectively.
- Interpersonal Skills – Will be required to work closely within a team and collaborate with other teams within the organization.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
