Irvine Scientific, located in Orange County, is a technological leader in the production of tissue culture, reproductive media, and cytogenetic products.
We are seeking a Ph.D scientist to conduct research in the area of mammalian cell metabolism, with the goal of developing and utilizing new approaches in the improvement of the productivity of mammalian cells in the synthesis of recombinant protein molecules. A Ph.D in the biological sciences or equivalent academic or industrial experience is required. Candidates should have 3-10 years of experience in research involving cell biology and/or biochemistry of mammalian cell metabolism. They should also have good written and verbal communication skills, be able to work and interact effectively with a team of scientists, and have supervisory experience.
