This position is responsible for the overall warehouse operations, staffing, shipping, receiving, packing, inventory management & the storage and organization of merchandise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Directs, coordinates and plans the warehouse storage and distribution of products and materials within this company.
• Issue job assignments and review packing slips, invoices and monitor the distribution of materials and products
• Place reorders for goods to ensure proper inventory levels
• Manage warehouse staff
• Ensure current and accurate inventory controls and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels
• Enforce safe work practices, regulations and company policies
Job Qualifications:
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, and Office applications
• 5+ years work experience in warehouse management and logistics
• Must have exceptional skills in communication, problem solving, decision making, prioritizing work, organizing, computer skills and getting the necessary information from relevant sources
• Qualified in basic warehouse equipment, to include forklift, electric pallet jack, order picker.
• Detail oriented, with excellent follow-through skills
• Must be fluent in English
• Physically fit to include the ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Good driving record
