Job description:
We are looking for a dynamic individual – an organized, energetic, self-starter with a strong professional work ethic – to take on the role of Acquisitions Intern. This individual will take on the support responsibilities for many of the acquisitions and underwriting activities of the company. This position has exceptional growth opportunity, with potential for additional leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Underwriting and related support for management and partners.
• Assist in generating deal flow and maintaining broker relationships.
• Preparing investment memoranda.
• Supporting market research activities including assessment of competitive set, market rents, and supply/demand dynamics.
• Participate in the coordination and organization of due diligence materials and provide overall transactional support.
Qualifications:
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Excellent computer skills, especially Excel / Word / PowerPoint.
• Ability to think independently, creatively, and critically.
• Strong multi-tasking ability, organization skills, team-oriented work ethic.
• Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or similar Business related coursework preferred.
• Highly self-motivated and quick to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
