The San Diego Coast District of the California State Park System is seeking energetic and eager interns interested in developing skills and abilities within the areas of marketing and sales. This position works closely with our non-profit association as well as with CA State Parks staff.
This paid program will assist Coastal San Diego County State Parks within various areas of marketing including promotion of events (i.e. Weddings, Receptions, Family Events, etc.), creation of brochures and web pages, developing sponsorships for events, recruiting businesses and corporations to utilize park areas for functions and fundraisers, as well as, developing partnerships for specific programs and services. This position is a tremendous fun opportunity and is a newly created internship for the California State Parks in Coastal North San Diego County.
Minimum Requirements: Students must have a 2.0 GPA or higher, Valid Class "C" California Driver's License, reliable Transportation, completion of a Department of Justice "Live Scan" background check and fingerprinting prior to appointment, completion of or currently obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in related fields of Marketing, Public Relations or Advertisement, willingness to travel to various parts of San Diego and Computer skills (Preferably Website Design Knowledge).
