Park Attendant I
(Part-Time, Temporary Position)
The City of Escondido Lakes/ Open Space Division is currently accepting applications for a Park Attendant I to work with the Lakes Ranger staff.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Campground and facility maintenance
Working on the boat dock
Collecting entrance fees
Snack bar operations and park reservations
Minimum requirements:
16 years of age or older
Have own transportation
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Demonstrate ability to:
Be responsible and reliable
Follow verbal and written instructions
Follow city and department policies and procedures
Maintain open communication with supervisors
NOTE: The City of Escondido is committed to a drug and alcohol-free workplace. A medical examination, along with a DRUG SCREEN, will be conducted following a conditional offer of employment.
Hourly Rate of Pay: $8.93 per hour, includes P.A.R.S. retirement program, workers compensation, and unemployment.
Work Schedule: Variable hours, must be available weekends and holidays.
