Scripps Health in Encinitas is currently seeking a part-time Barista and a full-time Lead Barista.
The Barista is responsible for handling coffee cart duties, including preparing beverages and serving food. Duties for the Lead Barista include: Coffee cart service, safe food handling, volume food production, menu development and modification, meal assembly and portion control, inventory management, food service equipment operations, customer service, human resources management, financial performance, infection control/sanitation and overall department function. Participates in the planning, coordination, preparation and volume production of meals for patients, cafeteria, catering/special events.
In order to be considered for either position, you MUST have 2 years experience in a similar role. (Similar experience will include positions where you have operated a coffee/espresso machine.) The Lead Barista position is also looking for prior leadership experience, but this is not required.
