Seeking full-time live-in nanny/housekeeper in Carmel Valley

We are a family living in Carmel Valley with a 27 month-old son and are seeking a full-time live-in nanny/housekeeper to start immediately. Mom works part-time and toddler will be in preschool 3 hours a day, 5 days per week starting in January. We have a lovely house and you would have your own room with a private entrance and bathroom. This is a paid position depending on experience. Housekeeping 60% of the time in the mornings, child care 40% of the time in the afternoons/evenings.

Qualifications:
Must have references, background, and credit check
Non-smoker, drug free
Previous child-care experience, preferably with toddlers
Able to provide educational and fun activities
CPR/first aid trained
TB test and current flu shots
Excellent mental and physical health
Positive and happy disposition
Clean driving record with own transportation and valid CA driver’s license
Occasional cooking, mostly for child
Able to do daily mild cleaning (laundry, dishes, picking up toys, sweeping, wiping the floors) and once a week deep cleaning (bathrooms, bathtub/shower, changing the beds, dusting, mopping floors, organizing, vacuuming, ironing)
Dependable, flexible, and easy going
Mature and responsible

Must be able to read/speak English
