Re-Entry Program for Nurses
FPM-40387 Credit: 5 units
This program is designed for nurses returning to practice in an acute care setting, LVNs seeking a transition to a hospital setting, and recent nurse graduates who wish to solidify their skills. The course includes a review of current models of care, physical assessment, medications, lab values, acute care emergencies, and communication and technical skills. Local hospital recruiters will share current job opportunities. See FPM 40385 below.
Note: Current CA, RN or LVN license, general computer experience (Word, Windows, and/or email)
