A basic overview of medical terminology is essential to the field of clinical trials design and management. Using an anatomy and physiology systems approach, this course reviews common terms associated with medical research and development in order to better prepare individuals to be productive in biomedical or healthcare work environments.
Note: Prerequisite for Professional Certificate in Clinical Trials Design & Management. May be waived (if you can read a medical chart, you do not need this class). Book required. This is an asynchronous online course. The allotted time period to take the class is two weeks, starting from the date student receives access to the course. The published end date of the class is NOT the last date to enroll; all coursework must be completed on or before that date, regardless of date of enrollment.
