Industry leader seeks experienced sales professional for advanced long term position.

We are a manufacturing company producing and selling high end custom built products to upscale clients worldwide who are accustomed to receiving top notch treatment.
A high percentage of our sales are through returning customers and referrals. Our core strategy centers on catering to the specific and exacting needs of each client to guarantee their complete satisfaction.
As Sales Liaison, this individual will be charged with ensuring negotiations between the clients and the company resulting in a highly satisfied buyer who will gladly refer our products and services to their associates.
When performing your role effectively, clients will refer to you and our company as a trusted expert advisor within our field of expertise.
The Sales Liaison will function as the client’s direct point of contact from the initial consultation to courtesy follow up relations.
An important function of this position includes accurately representing the client’s interest during the design and production of their product, working closely with both internal team members and external contractors to ensure the product is in accordance with the client’s vision.
This individual will oversee the progress of each product from its conception to final installation.

• Industry Authority – You will receive sufficient training to make you a competent authority within our field of interest. You’ll be expected to use this knowledge to present intelligent and thoughtful solutions to our clients.
• Flexible Communicator – On the client’s side, you will need to communicate well with assistants, designers, architects, builders, and installers. Internally you will work closely with the office staff, the designer, the production crew, and upper management. You must act as both a coordinator and peacemaker communicating eloquently both verbally and through correspondence to achieve optimum success.
• Form Familiarity – Some of the jobs you will be intimately involved in require one who is undaunted by institutional forms, tackling and completing them with fervor.
• Technical Ability – A portion of your work will require you to visualize 3 dimensional problems, interpret blueprints, and understand dimensioning. While these skills are not required to gain employment, they are essential skills you will need to have a knack for in order to rapidly master.
• Familiarity with related trends – To best understand and communicate with the client, you will need to familiarize yourself with the trends common to our demographic. This is a continually evolving process.
• Systems Development – Our company is steadily growing. As such we are constantly developing new organizational systems to further improve both flow and efficiency. As a high ranking employee, you will play an active role in the creation, execution, and policing of these ongoing efforts.
• Sales Ability – This is still largely a sales position that requires a person skilled in the subtle craft of low pressure selling. We employ the latest emerging sales methodologies and you will be trained in these. However we expect you to come to us capable and competent at selling through a variety of effective techniques.
• No Ego – To perform your duties effectively, it is essential that you have the ability to remove all personal opinions and preferences from the process. You must be competent at working directly with the client to customize the product to best suit their own needs and preferences.


Core Responsibilities
• Email Correspondence – You will receive numerous emails daily from a variety of existing and potential clients seeking advice or requesting information on a wide range of topics within our field of authority. You’ll be expected to quickly formulate detailed and grammatically effective responses to these queries, many of which will evolve into sales orders.
• Phone Sales – We receive daily calls from existing and potential clients seeking further information on our products. Due to our existing reputation and our highly effective selling methods, the majority of these calls become sales. We expect you to close a high percentage of the sales calls you receive.
• Walk-in Sales – Though we are largely a global provider, we do have occasional walk-in sales. Our business offers a showroom where you can show the clients product examples to better gain a full understanding of their needs, and to close the sale.
• Visits to Client Sites – On occasion, a direct visit to the client’s residence or business is required in order to provide proper advisement or to gain the best understanding of their specific needs.
• Client Relations – You will be responsible for maintaining the company’s client list along with maintaining ongoing relations with our clients through a variety of mediums and methods, including call-backs and courtesy follow-ups. You’ll also be responsible for adding clients to this list through referrals and tips.
• External Relations – In the course of the products development, you will be responsible for shepherding the product through from its initial design, to purchase, to final installation. You’ll do this by establishing and pursuing strong communication channels with the client, their assistants, designers, architects, builders, and the product installers.
• Advertising Campaigns – You will work with other staff members to develop and instigate a variety of public relation and advertising campaigns. Your primary duty in these efforts is to provide client profiling information that will allow others to formulate campaign material that directly targets our desired clients. You’ll also provide feedback relating to the effectiveness of various campaign efforts based largely on client feedback gained through direct and indirect conversations.
• Office Administration – You will work closely with the front office and production staff to oversee the proper fulfillment of each custom order. You will be expected to work directly with upper management to impose and maintain necessary solutions to the obstacles and barriers your encounter. This includes the development and continuance of systems aimed at improving communication and workflow.


Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field…or industry experience in a related field.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook,Word,Excel,Project…etc) and one or more accounting programs (We use Quickbooks Enterprise).
- Ability to work with a cross section of people and influence multiple stake holders internally and externally.
- Project planning & organization skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or better and/or experience leading or running a company.
- Proficient in collaboration, conflict resolution, group interaction and dynamics, project management, and the facilitation of large scale organizational transformation.
- Strong interpersonal skills, especially in the areas of persuasion and negotiation.
- Proficiency in a wide variety of computer programs with the ability to rapidly master new software tools.
- Strong presentation skills, with experience presenting to high level executives and/or clients.
- Demonstrated ability in the art of influencing senior-level executives and instigating operational management.
