Real estate investment company based in La Jolla is seeking a candidate for a short term business research project focusing on the hospitality industry. The selected individual will provide support to the Vice President of Finance and Acquisitions in conjunction with a business development research project.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
* Data gathering via the use of industry analytical software.
* Analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to identify industry, company, and customer trends.
* Effectively communicating research results and possible strategic options to the VP.
* Identifying potential investment opportunities and preferred submarkets.
* Assist in the development of marketing collateral and web site development.
* Provide support for capital sourcing and broker relationship networking.
To qualify for this opportunity, candidates must possess:
* Strong research and analytical skills
* Strong problem solving skills
* Excellent written communication skills
* Ability to work independently
* Self-motivated
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Education Qualifications:
* Must hold a degree in Business, Hospitality or Finance or be in the process of gearing up for graduation.
