Job Details: The primary responsibilities of the job are driving, merchandising, and servicing the company’s various corporate and independent retail accounts.
There are multiple route positions. One entails only working 4 days a week, however, the days are long and include layovers. The layovers are in hotels and will be reimbursed by the company. The typical work schedule is Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Friday with Wednesdays and weekends off. However, this schedule may vary depending on the company’s route requirements or customer needs.
The other route position entails working 5 days a week and does not require layovers. The work schedule is Monday-Friday.
There is a combination of driving, physical work, customer interaction, and paperwork. The physical work consists primarily of delivering, merchandising, and handling the frozen ice cream and pizza products the company distributes. There is also occasional cleaning and maintaining of company owned equipment such as freezers that sometimes need to be de-iced. A regular Class C license is all that is needed for this position.
We are looking for independent, responsible, and safety conscious candidates with good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic math skills are also required for invoicing and paperwork. A strong work ethic and willingness to “roll up your sleeves” is a must. The days start early and our customers have receiving hours so you must be punctual and have the ability to work quickly.

On Site Event Assistant: you will be on hand to answer any questions the guests may have about where to go, how to set up any audio visual equipment (we will train you on that), or to move tables and chairs, refill coffee if needed, make sure guests do not enter private areas, and generally problem solve anything that may arise.
Audio Visual Equipment: we will train you on the audio visual equipment we have which includes laptop and projector, lapel and handheld microphones, CD and IPOD stereos, etc.
Light cleaning: we employ a full time janitorial service, however we need basic clean-up assistance after big events (weddings, parties, etc) such as re-stocking bathroom supplies during large events, vacuuming and shampooing carpets after an event (could be the next day), throwing trash out before closing the building, wiping down tables and chairs. If you have any handyman skills, such as hanging paintings, doing touch-up paint, assembling things, that is helpful.
Securing building: at the end of an event, making sure everyone is out of the building, making sure all doors are locked and setting the alarm.
Schedule: Room set-ups usually occur during the Monday – Friday workday, and events are usually in the evenings and weekends. It is possible you could work one or the other (or both) and that is ok. The number of hours varies. We could have a very busy weekend of events and then nothing booked for two weeks. Approximately one week ahead of time, we would contact you with event details and ask your availability. We understand that you may not be available for all assignments, and that is ok.
