Sales / Estimator
Description Key Responsibilities: You will be responsible for business generation, sales estimation, prepares both labor and materials cost estimates for paving jobs, Residential and commercial bid requests.. This would include meeting with current clients, referrals, and constantly searching for bidding opportunities. Other important tasks include plan reviews, job walks, and job costing. The ability to interact with contractors, governmental agencies, purchasing agents, and end users is imperative. Familiarity with asphalt paving, grading, concrete and products is a must. The knowledge of multiple suppliers and the ability to negotiate with them is critical in keeping our material costs as low as possible. You must be able to accurately and efficiently calculate the number of hours necessary to complete the entire job. Provide accurate and timely estimates.
Minimum of 5 years commercial estimating and sales experience. Strong practical asphalt paving knowledge of residential and commercial construction. Adept in reading blue prints. Strong interpersonal communication skills and an ability to work independantly.
