Vinyl Fence Manufacturer in El Cajon has an immediate opening for a Vinyl Fence Manufacturing Assistant. We do NOT install, we only manufacture the parts necessary for building fences, arbors, patio covers and gazebos.
We are looking for an individual that has the ability to prioritize, take direction, multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced work environment. The person needs to be a, motivated self-starter with attention to detail, ready to put quality first while working at a fast pace. Must be respectful of others, willing to learn new methods, have pride in craftsmanship, mechanical and mathematical aptitude and an understanding of fractions.
Job Duties:
• Manufacture vinyl fence, patio covers & gazebos
• Use of math for custom applications
• Use of chop saws & table saw
• Program computer driven CNC routers (will train)
• Customer Service (Customers picking up materials)
• Gate assembly
• Maintain a clean warehouse
• Inventory control
Requirements:
• Have experience in construction and/or cabinetry environment.
• Requires mechanical aptitude, computer, math skills & ability to follow directions
• Experience with maintaining accurate inventory
• Production control planning and scheduling of large number of parts to insure timely production of finished goods.
• Experience operating forklift
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Good communication, customer service and time management skills.
• Must speak, read & write fluent English
The position is full-time/40 hrs a week Monday through Friday
