Busy Days Daycare is looking for a few more children to join our small group. I offer quality childcare. My home is a place where you will feel good about bringing your child(ren) and know that they will be busy and having fun all day.
I am licensed #376617988 (which means background checks have been done), certified in first aid, infant/child/adult CPR, and Preventative Health Safety. I also have an AA degree (5 classes just in early education). I am in the YMCA infant/toddler program (taking classes), member of the PTA (Rolando), and a member of the SDCFCC Association. My home has passed the state inspection...so my home is a safe, kid friendly environment. I have a great fenced yard for outdoor play, a large indoor play area with lots of fun toys/games where they can learn. We will be learning new things every day in a fun play way!! Music, dance, arts & crafts, playdoh, cooking (my husband was a professional Chef for over 15 years), reading, planned Pre-K learning activities (project sheets and activities to start getting ready for Kindergarten), and so much more.
My home is in La Mesa near 70th Street, accessible to highway 8, 15, 805, 5, 67 and 94. Located near Grossmont and Alvarado Hospitals.
I have a 3 year old son and a 6 year old daughter. I welcome siblings since I feel siblings benefit from being together all day. (My children are very close and I feel its because they were in a home care program together...until my daughter started elementary school).

Best family day care
We couldn't be more pleased with our child's experience at this day care. He is treated like a member of their family. He has brought home crafts, learned to count to 6 (at 18 months!), says "please", and has a great time with the other children. It is a small, close knit group of carefully selected children that play together and learn from one another. The outside play area has so many toys for the under 4 age group - an entire fleet of little cars, tables, and playground equipment. Inside, there are huge baskets of books (our son's favorite) and so many wonderful toys. The pop up school bus seems to be a favorite, along with the pop up train. We would highly recommend Busy Days to other parents of toddlers and infants.
Wonderful Daycare
My son has been going to Busy Days since summer 2007, and we love it. He looks forward to playing, eating really good food (!), and working on his letters and numbers. We are very pleased with Busy Days and would recommend it to everyone.
