Relic Hunter - Complete TV Series DVD Tia Carrera $45

Sydney Fox is a professor but primarily a globe-trotting "relic hunter," looking for ancient artifacts to return to museums and/or the ancestors of the original owner. She's aided by her linguistic assistant Nigel, and occasionally by her somewhat air-headed secretary Claudia. She often ends up battling rival hunters seeking out artifacts for the money.

Review: "Relic Hunter" is a really nicely done, fun TV show. People are obviously going to compare it to Tomb Raider, but other than the female protagonist, really it is a lot closer to Indiana Jones. But the best thing about Relic Hunter is that it doesn't take itself too seriously. There are lots of loose humorous moments mixed into the interesting plotlines, which, again, are very Indian Jones-like. Tia Carrere and Christien Anholt are great actors and have great chemistry, although they never romantically connect. Lindy Booth was a great complimentary character as Claudia, and it's a shame that she left the show. Her replacement just didn't do anything for me. I didn't expect much from this show at first, but the cast is really great, and Sydney and Nigel feel like good friends. Overall, Relic Hunter isn't a hard-as-stone drama or a throw-away action flick. It's an entertaining, fairly realistic show (in relation to a lot of what's on TV) that isn't afraid to laugh at itself in the process of doing its thing. And Tia Carrere is a fabulously talented woman. She is a beautiful model, a talented singer, and a smart actress.

Maybe music rights issues (which even plagued the show itself in season two's switch of theme song). The show also starred cute and sexy Julie Bowen, up and comer Justin Long, Michael Ian Black, Mike Starr and Josh Randall. Guest stars included over the years, John Goodman, Kevin Pollack and Danny Devito as well as others.This show is much loved and was a significant 4 year hit that was not only funny, but romantic and quite moving at times. A brilliant show from the behind the scenes talent of the David Letterman show.

Used Red 1957 Chevy VHS Rewinder with California Plates

Rewinder shows some wear with some minor scratches and a few paint specks from the last room painting it was in. It has been cleaned and lubed well and does stick sometimes when it's time to open at the end of rewinding. This is a great collector piece for 1957 Chevy lovers. Comes with a 12V DC power pack. Opens by pressing in the license plate holder and re-opens at the end of rewind, but as I stated above, it sticks sometimes.
