The position we are looking to fill here is account management. It's a very human-centric job. It involves paying careful attention to the needs of each team-member on the 5 accounts that are assigned to you. Usually that just means frequent communication and being very organized regarding deadlines and the work being done to meet those deadlines.
You don't need to have experience in account management directly, but you should have experience meeting the needs of groups in a thoughtful and organized fashion. Several of our best account executives have teaching backgrounds, or leadership positions in religious and civic organizations.
