Our fast-paced, progressive Web company has an immediate need for a Web-savvy news content producer for our automotive, education, health, home services, insurance, lending and real estate sites.
Key responsibilities include writing and posting news stories using our content management system in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
The ideal candidate must posses the following qualifications:
3+ years of experience in journalism, preferably online
a demonstrated ability to accurately and consistently produce quality news content
the ability to employ solid news judgment and to communicate ideas effectively
a working knowledge of AP style and newsroom protocol
an on call, flexible schedule that facilitates a swift reaction and coverage of breaking news
excellent Internet research and fact-checking skills
an understanding of how to optimize content and write for the Web
an eye for trends on local and national business topics.
