    The Penthouse unit is for November 21-28. It is located at Wyndham Shearwater on a bluff above the pristine Anini Beach. This is the only Penthouse unit at Shearwater and was owned by the developer. It is 2 stories, and has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathroom. It is absolutely beautiful!!! We have been to this unit in the past years and always love it. It is very private and looks over the ocean from the master bedroom and living room areas. It has a wonderful deck outside the master bedroom and living room which overlooks the ocean as well. With whale season here, you might see whales from the very private deck. The unit is huge and has plenty of room for a family and/or friends. You will love it so much you may not want to leave, but the island of Kauai is so spectacular you will enjoy everything about the trip. We have taken our children to Kauai many, many times and they love it every time. We are very sad to miss it this year, but you will benefit tremendously from our loss. This unit would easily cost more than $3000.00 for the week. Because of the short notice I have discounted it to $1,200.00.

    If you want a second week in Kauai, we also have a week at the Wyndham Makai Club which is an independent house located right on the first fairway of the Makai Golf Course. We have this unit from November 15-22. The house is 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms, but it is huge!!! The Makai Club cottages are all independent houses which sit on the golf course and overlook the beautiful mountains and waterfalls. They are fantastic for a large family or any one else. I will let this unit go for $850, which is far less than our homeowners fee for the year.

    Of course there is a full kitchen and washer and dryer in both units above, which is a dream whether you are traveling with a family and kids or not. Both units are located in Princeville on the North Shore of Kauai. We have traveled to Hawaii more than 26 times. Kauai is our favorite island by far due to its incredible beauty and low-key nature. The snorkeling and diving are amazing, but there are so many other activities you can enjoy as well. I am more than happy to give tips on all the best places to go.

    You can find pictures of both places easily on the web. Remember, however, that the Shearwater unit is the Penthouse or Executive Suite unit and not the regular unit. It is the only 2 story unit and is much better than the other units.

    This Mediterranean style gem has high ceilings, classic dark wood beams, skylights and brick domed ceilings in the kitchen and dining room. The complex was originally designed by a famous architect. He was the son of Jose Orozco and he only designed two places in Baja. The luxurious decor is sure to knock your socks off. We have down filled super soft sofa's in the living room facing a grand real wood fireplace with panoramic views surrounding it. We have a full kitchen with all the pots, pans, plates and glasses (Wine, margarita, drinking, etc.) that you would need. Just bring your beverages and food and you are good to go. The two seperate bedrooms have pillowtop beds and 400-600 count sheets. Sleeps four comfortably but we have an aerobed to sleep up to six people max.

    We are located in a great spot in Baja, Mexico just south of the border from San Diego. From the border it is about a 40 minutes drive. What is really amazing about our place is that we are in a section of Baja that has been called the "Big Sur" of Baja because of the beautiful coastal terrain. We are on a cliff overlooking the entire coast. The redtail hawks often are flying just off the front deck looking down at the beach below. From the deck you can watch dolphins ride the waves in the surf almost everyday. In the spring the California grey whales come right up to the beach in front our place. We also have a private beach below our place with a path that goes down to it. It is a short eight minute walk but the beach is a white sand beach and on the holidays you will probably be there by yourself.

    A lot of people ask us "What do you do when you get to our place?" I tell them, " When you see the view from the front deck you are probably not going to want to do much." Our place is a great relaxing getaway. The soft sounds of the surf below are all you really hear. We do have a great stereo with an ipod connection and CD player so bring your tunes and relax. We have cable TV, DVD player. If you want to venture out, however, here are some Ideas:

    1. We are a short ten minute drive from the town of Rosarito. We are about a 20 minute drive to the city of Ensenada, and we are just up the hill from a one of the best restaurants in Baja called La Fonda. Great food, lobster and filets and great views. The lobster village of Puerto Nuevo is a short five minute drive north of us.
    2. There are some fine Baja vineyards 30-40 minutes south of our place. You can go wine tasting out in the countryside which is beautiful.
    3. There is great beach below for surfing and there are great surf spots all around our place. You can surf probably by yourself almost everyday of the year on our fine beach break. There is also the K-58 sand bottom beach break which is a popular spot just up from our beach. For world class surfing San Miguel is a 20 minute drive south and for the big wave warrior you can rent a boat from Ensenada and go out to Todos Santos for the big stuff.
    4. Renting horses for riding on the beach just up at Playa La Mision.
    5. Golfing at Bajamar which is the "Pebble Beach" of Baja. Nine gorgeous holes on the water. This is about an eight minute drive south of our place.
    6. Massages. There are Spa's all over Baja and there is one at La Fonda which is a two minute drive from our house. You can get a 1 hr massage for $48 dollars!

    If you are interested email us and we'll email you a list of things to do and bring while in Baja. If you are having a special occasion we do have a fresh flower package (Roses) that can be put all through the house before you arrive. We do know a private chef that will shop, show up, and cook for you in the house (She's not cheap) but she is great.

    The city of Pacific Beach is vibrant and hip. The main streets of Garnet and Grand, which lead to the beach, are lined with shops, bars, restaurants and novelty stores. The Pacific Beach crowd really is unique and make for a fun beach experience. It’s an eccentric community, which ranges from the casual surfer to the tattooed punk rocker to the average college kid. Needless to say it’s a fun place to people watch.

    The boardwalk parallels the beach and is lined with shops, restaurants, beach rentals and some apartments for the lucky few who get to enjoy a beautiful beach sunset from their doorstep and a crazy and exciting town just around the corner. The boardwalk is popular all throughout the day and

The waves are fun and depending on the conditions can be suitable for all levels of surfing. There are however separate areas for surfing and swimming. Flags are usually posted to indicate the designated surfing areas. Lifeguards are on duty year round.

    This 3rd floor unit has a great location at 4667 Ocean Blvd, San Diego, CA 92109, USA. Web search the address to see it's oceanfront spot. Walk out the front door of the complex and be greeted by a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean or enjoy the most beautiful sunsets.

    The unit's main window has a nice view of the Crystal Pier and the surfer's that enjoy the break there. The beautiful sounds of the ocean are easily heard from the unit. Very convenient location to the San Diego airport. The unit has Wifi access and a dedicated underground parking space (6'height limit).

    Pacific beach is located off I-5 and Garnet Ave. The beach area south of Crystal Pier is known as Pacific beach. It is a two-mile stretch of sandy beach packed with people, fun waves, an active boardwalk and plenty of space to sunbathe. North Pacific beach is located north of Crystal Pier, a public pier good for strolling and fishing.

    The city of Pacific Beach is vibrant and hip. The main streets of Garnet and Grand, which lead to the beach, are lined with shops, bars, restaurants and novelty stores. The Pacific Beach crowd really is unique and make for a fun beach experience. It’s an eccentric community, which ranges from the casual surfer to the tattooed punk rocker to the average college kid. Needless to say it’s a fun place to people watch.

    The boardwalk parallels the beach and is lined with shops, restaurants, beach rentals and some apartments for the lucky few who get to enjoy a beautiful beach sunset from their doorstep and a crazy and exciting town just around the corner. The boardwalk is popular all throughout the day and a great place for cycling, jogging, walking or rollerblading.

    Almost all water activities are practiced at this beach from surfing, to boogie boarding, swimming and skim boarding. Surfing is popular at this beach. The waves are fun and depending on the conditions can be suitable for all levels of surfing.
