Combined Resources Inc. (CRI) is a $50 million, privately held wholesale distributor (including design and manufacturing) of consumer products geared primarily for the warehouse club channel. Our continued success depends on the talent, efforts and achievements of our exceptional employees. We are currently recruiting for an IT Systems Specialist.
Primary Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving all IT related issues using in house resources as well as outside vendors. You will be doing all regular maintenance of systems including back ups, hardware/software installations and troubleshooting and ensuring all computers have the latest security patches and anti-virus updates. You will manage all in-coming help desk calls and act as first level support in getting system issues resolved. In addition, you will manage second level support by managing ticket prioritization and assignment to ensure that quality of service is maintained to users. You will assist in asset acquisition by obtaining vendor quotes, placing approved orders and ensuring delivery and installation. You will assist with set up and troubleshooting of conference room equipment such as videoconferencing equipment and Conference Bridge. You will also have responsibility for tracking and monitoring software projects.
Requirements:
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years experience in desktop/network/hardware and software support.
• Strong knowledge of servers, routers, switches and storage devices.
• Experience in installing, maintaining and troubleshooting DOS and Windows versions of MS Office Suite and other standard software such as Windows, MS Project and Explorer.
• Experience with software licensing and maintenance and hardware warranties.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple high impact projects simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as customer service skills
• Excellent troubleshooting and analysis skills
• Some domestic travel required.
