Remote Desktop Technician
H&R Block has an immediate, seasonal position available:
Remote Desktop Technician who is professional, well-organized, and reliable to work in our fast-paced and demanding industry. If you're looking to work in a great environment, this could be the position for you.
Responsibilities:
Serve as liaison between field offices, Service Center, Remote Support and Regional Technology Manager to identify and resolve problems.
Requirements
Understand and recognize office hardware. Must understand and create documentation to guide through set up of unfamiliar hardware.
Comprehend communication and connectivity concepts as they relate to HRB Tax office set up scenarios (VPN, Client/Host, File Transfer, telecom data services, office cabling, etc) and instruct others on these concepts
Knowledge of outlook, word and excel (MS Office)
Able to read documentation and set up instructions and apply this information to each individual office. Must be able to take information, organize it, and report on it back to a team lead
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively and professionally with customers and coworkers Professional demeanor, reliable and well-spoken with excellent customer service skills
Ability to multitask in fast paced environment
Willingness to learn and adopt to changing environment
Must have impeccable attention to detail with high degree of accuracy and follow through
Must be able to work independently with minimal direction or supervision
Prior call center experience a plus
