Human IT Resources is a consulting firm offering outsourced HR and IT expertise to San Diego businesses. Our business is growing, and we are looking to add additional IT Consultants to our team. We are seeking an energetic, personable, business-oriented individual with strong experience in the computer consulting field. The ideal candidate will possess expert troubleshooting skills, the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and functional end-users and a strong customer service mentality.

Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
• Provide infrastructure support, to include Helpdesk, Desktop Support, Linux, Microsoft Server, and Network Administration.
• Strong focus on customer service
• Assist Human IT Resources team with technical projects (ie, Server deployments, Desktop Upgrades/imaging, Software deployments, network upgrades, Etc.)
• Strong Remote troubleshooting skills
• Firewall configuration experience with SonicWall, Netgear and/or Cisco
• Support and configure VPNs, including SSL, IPSEC and PPTP
• Strong knowledge of backup systems and disaster recovery
• Managed switch configuration including ACL, VLAN and routing knowledge
• Expert installation, administration and troubleshooting skills for all Windows Server products including Active Directory environments
• Expert desktop support skills for all Microsoft operating systems
• Excellent networking skills including TCP/IP, Ethernet, wireless and physical wiring knowledge
• Basic Linux experience
• Knowledge of security best practices
Qualifications and Requirements:
• BA + 3 years experience, or equivalent work experience
• CCNA, A+, MCSE or MCP certification is a plus
• Occasional client support after hours and weekend as needed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and perform a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal supervision
• Previous IT consulting experience
