Customized Multimedia Workstation:

I built this system in early 2004 to be a powerful workstation for Video and Sound editing projects. This computer has served me well, but I have built a newer system and I am selling this one to make up for some of the costs. This computer was built using carefully selected components (100% flagship) from the world famous electronics town - Akihabara Japan! This system is built for high productivity supporting multiple displays and lots of connectivity (Firewire, USB 2.0, Digital/Analog sound I/O, etc)

Sound dampening material lines this attractive computer case, and the system can easily be modified for silent operation.

I’ll post some pictures, but please keep in mind; only the tower is for sale (I will include software disks and power cable), you will need your own monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc.

My OEM license is for Windows XP Professional (certificate sticker attached to the case), but I am certain other Operating Systems will run fine.

I’m asking for $600 firm, this system is ready out of the box with lots of customized features and rock-solid software configurations. It is one of the few boards in the market to offer an optical output in addition to a coaxial one. But it goes farther. Abit makes good use of the nForce2 chipset's features, and is the best rated overclocking AMD platform for Barton XP cores. The board does 2GB DDR@228MHz FSB in dual channel mode straight out of the box and is very easy to set up. Along with a total of six USB 2.0 ports (four can be used simultaneously), two FireWire ports are also available. In order to support SATA hard drives, the Sil3112 serial controller from Silicon Image was also put on this board. The ATX interface and the slot for the 12V supplementary power supply are situated, quite practically, in the same place - that prevents a tangle of cables. Also, long cards are not in the way of either the serial ports or the IDE ports. A port for everything: optical and coaxial digital output, connectors for Surround Sound included!

ATI and nVidia Graphics?

ATI and nVidia in one system, play nice together. Have a desire to run multiple displays? This system can support 4 independent displays (2 SVGA, 1 DVI, and 1 S-Video) Powered by two Graphics Adapters: ATI Radeon 9600SE 128MB AGP 8x (fanless cooling for silent operation); and the nVidia GeForce4 mx400, 64MB SGRAM (96mbit data pipe). Both supporting directX 9 applications.

This is not a gaming rig, but it will play games made prior to 2005 beautifully and can still be upgraded for less than $100 if you want to play the latest titles (I’d recommend the GeForce 6800XT - $99 on newegg.com)

The Sound of Music:

This rig is great for watching your favorite movies. With nVidia’s use of Realtek audio you will get true 5.1 digital (or analog) surround sound right out of the box! I also will include the peripherals for an Audigy2zs (just add the card to make use of these features).

I've had this baby for a year, and it has been great to use! Unfortunately, I need to move up and the screen on this one has a slight problem. Would still be excellent for someone who needs a powerful computer but cannot afford brand new. Check this one out, it still has a couple good years in it!

That picture is silver but my case is solid black.

This case is the best. It's nice and heavy; a very solid case. The wheels help to roll it around if need be, but they can be locked if you don't want it to move. Also, it's huge. I would be suprised to see anyone utilize all of the given space.
All of the hardware is retail, not OEM. I never over-clock any of the parts, or even mess with them (only to clean or dust them).

This computer comes with a legitimate XP Home CD with valid CD key.

Note: For $1000 total, I will throw in my 22" widescreen ACER flat screen monitor. It is in excellent condition. No busted pixels.

It's the little things that separate this computer. The solid case keeps all of the parts in prime condition. The quiet CPU fan and power supply, along with the noise cancellation hard drive enclosure, keep it from being too loud. All of the parts are perfectly compatible. I never blue screen or have any issues at all. It has never given me any trouble. I am moving soon, and my priorities have changed. I am not going have the space for a desktop computer, nor do I have much time to even use it. I will be sad to see it go though.
I have combined an awesome tower with a pristine 17" LCD Monitor. All components except for the exceptional case and motherboard are brand new upgrades. The Hard Drive (SATA), the RAM, and the Super DVD burner to name a few. It is also under warranty until 10/26/2009 and is easily transferable.

Features

Large, widescreen display lets you view multiple windows at once.
Huge screen and HD support are ideal for movie fans, power gamers and multimedia buffs. Also, with a full 24" viewable image size and high 1920 x 1200 native resolution, you can view enlarged text and graphics and work with multiple windows at the same time. Great for spreadsheets, word processing, Web browsing and more.

Speedy 5ms response time for smooth gaming and DVDs.
This fast pixel response time virtually eliminates ghosting, so you get sharp, clear full-motion video and life-like high-speed gaming action. The 16:10 aspect ratio makes watching DVDs in widescreen format a pleasure.

400 cd/m2 brightness level — for use in brightly lit offices.
The high brightness level ensures easy viewing in dark offices or bright, sunny rooms, while the 3000:1 dynamic contrast ratio delivers blacker blacks, whiter whites and vivid colors.

Wide 160° horizontal viewing angle is great for sharing.
Whether you're working on a project with a co-worker or playing a game with a friend, the 160° horizontal angle gives a clear, distortion-free view for all.

Sleek, contoured design works in any office.
Despite its large screen size, the X243Wbd has a depth (with stand) of under 8", so it won't take up a lot of desk space. Overall dimensions are 13 9/10"H x 21 1/2"W x 7 1/2"D. The attractive slim-bezel design adds style to any office.

Analog and digital inputs add flexibility.
Digital (DVI-D) input offers the highest-quality signal, while analog (VGA) input offers the widest compatibility with computer video cards. The DVI port supports HDCP, for viewing protected high-definition (HD) content.

HP Pavilion Laptop - DVD Burner, WIFI... Must sell! (SD) $345

I'm selling my laptop, mostly used for schoolwork and watching videos. It's an HP Pavilion with tons of great features: DVD burner, WIFI, massive hard drive, and so much more! It works great, and the battery holds a charge for about an hour and a half. Includes a nice laptop bag, power cord, and restore DVD.

SPECS:
1.8ghz Mobile AMD Sempron 3000+ processor
768mbs of RAM
100gb hard drive
15.0" XGA TFT Brightview Display
ATI RADEON XPRESS 200M IGP video graphics
WIFI built-in
DVD-RW
Windows XP

It only has a few minor issues. The screen has a few tiny marks on it, and a scratch in the upper left corner. Nothing major. Also, the USB ports sometimes have problems. Maybe it's a software or drive issue, I don't know.

Only $345 obo. Please leave a phone number. Serious buyers only!
