We need people who are committed to working on this project for a full 8 to 9 months
Purpose:
Provide independent verification of software products that have been developed according to pre-approved software design requirements and specifications.
Independently develops, maintains and executes test cases both manual and automated. Discovers, documents and tracks software defects in a bug database.
Plans and implements the setup of test environments to perform functional testing of integrated software and hardware in a lab setting.
Facilitates the core project team to ensure all facets of software product testing are accomplished within project timelines.
Specific Duties:
1.
Software test case development – design and maintain test cases from requirements and specifications
2.
Software test execution – run test cases and document test execution status
3.
Troubleshoot and debug defects with development teams
4.
Product documentation review and analysis – user needs, requirements, and design documents, user manuals
5.
Test environment – plan and implement test hardware and software environments
Requirements:
Education or Equivalent:
4-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience or Equivalent:
Three to five years formal software test experience
Certified Software Quality Engineering – ASQ certification is a plus.
