Basic Functions & Responsibilities Summarized:
• Be ESI solution “owner” & “evangelist” for designated EMAS Pro Suite solutions to help assure ESI customer satisfaction, product/solution profitability and strategic goal accomplishment
• Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning, product launch, delivery to clients
• Gather & prioritize product & service requirements through market analysis
• Identify potential target customers & estimate client demand for the product
• Define the product vision & positioning
• Work with marketing communications to position key customer’s benefits
• Stay informed of competing products
• Help recommend pricing strategies
• Help develop new innovations / ideas
• Serve as the internal ESI and external higher education community “evangelist”
• Help explore potential channel partner relationships for the product
• Coordinate required deliverables from ESI operational functional teams
• Report to ESI leadership and provide accountability for:
1) Accomplishments to date, and problem solution planning on upcoming next steps
2) Product P&L responsibility including Product/Service Profit Analysis
• Other roles and responsibilities as may be assigned and accepted

• 2 to 4 years corporate experience as a software solution Product Manager

• Familiar with business considerations unique to Higher Education software and services
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial aptitude
• Demonstrated effective presentation skills as a product “Evangelist”
• Proven experience identifying innovative & broadly applicable solutions
