Job Title: Associate Software Quality Assurance Engineer

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in a software development environment. This experience must involve white box, automated testing and/or performance testing. In addition, they should command a solid understanding of software quality assurance aspects including the methodologies and terminology.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Developing and executing automated and manual test scripts
• Identifying bugs and troubleshooting solutions
• Maintain and upgrade existing tools currently used by QA.
• Work with Software Quality Assurance Engineers to create new tools and processes to assist with the QA process.
Requirements:
• BS in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in a formal software development role.
• Experience with automated testing highly preferred
• Ability to write SQL queries
• Familiarity with Object Oriented Programming
Experience in one or more of the following technical areas desired:
• Computer language: C, C++, Java
• Testing Frameworks: Selenium, CppUnit, JUnit
• Database: Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, EnterpriseDB
• Web and/or Application servers: Apache HTTP Server, Tomcat
