Job Purpose
We are looking to quickly a full time User Experience UI Design engineer to join our team. Our development team is small and self-organized, using an agile development approach. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference, and gain a lot of experience delivering great products to market.
This hire will be leading the charge on a game-changing UI initiative. You will be responsible for the vision and direction of usability and design for the entire product suite, including the existing product and every new product. Working alongside the engineers on cross-functional teams, you will guide the design and usability as products are thought up, developed, and launched. This includes working on some extremely exciting new product initiatives we are now ramping up.
Job Requirements:
• Exceptional design skills, especially in the web environment
• Training and real world experience in UX and UI
• Expert proficiency with X/HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Web standards-based design
• Ability to do rapid-prototyping with mockups/sketches/white boarding
• Experience with agile development methods
Preferred:
• Experience in usability testing
• Experience with Perl, PHP, Ruby, Python, or any other dynamic language
