FULL TIME IT TECHNICIAN NEEDED FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE (Miramar)
We are a Computer company who takes great pride in offering high quality custom built computers/servers and services to a wide range of clients. We are looking for a Computer Technician who can troubleshoot all problems from desktops, laptops, servers and networks.
The applicant must be able to communicate in a professional manner with the client, and be able to explain technical things in terms that the typical business manager can understand.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years experience in hands-on computer desktop and server and networking support
- Communications skills
- Pleasant phone personality and skilled in customer handing
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Computer desktop and Rack mount assembly, testing and installing windows and Linux
Operating systems, installing updates and software
- Repairing and troubleshooting computers and laptops
- Must be good at Virus removal, data transfer, data backups
- Keeping the warehouse organized, shipping and receiving
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation please
- Printers and peripherals setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
- email configuration and troubleshooting
- be able to recommend upgrades to customers, familiar with new hardware/technology
