The other area is the shared room which is twice as large as the live-in area. You will have your own personal space of 13x13 feet to live in, with our room mate Travis who occupies his own 13x13 space in the same room. Travis does not mind pets at all, but the room doesn't have access to the balcony at all. Rent for this spot, however, will be 550 for the 5 weeks plus utilities.
The apartment is honestly a great place to live, and having lived in 3 other apartments in La Jolla over my UCSD off campus career, I can say this apartment has been the best for price, size, and cleanliness.
We have 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, our own washer and dryer in the apartment and multiple closets for everyone. We're located at the corner of Nobel and Reagents Road, which is the first shuttle stop for the UCSD Arriba bus line, along with other various La Jolla buses too.
Parking is easy to come by, as since most UCSD students have moved back to their families over the summer, the streets are littered with vacant spaces. You could, if desired, purchase a parking permit for the month at Costa Verde for 40 dollars and park in the gated garage, but it really is wasted money.

The place is very close to the 94 freeway. Its located conviently near the college grove shopping area. Near Walmart, Target, Sams Club, and 24 hour Fitness Magic Johnson.

We are a low-key couple that just married and bought this home. Looking for a low-key normal roommate. We work normal hours (7am-5pm). One of us is off every Friday. We don’t go out and party, but may have a drink or two at home, watching TV (like we said – low-key).
It is a very nice apartment complex; we have 2 pools, 3 jacuzzi tubs, gym, 2 racquetball courts and BBQ pits. Our apartment complex guarantee all repairs in 24 hrs. We are close to the UCSD, 5 minutes walk to UTC. We have the Nobel Athletic Field just across the street (baseball, soccer, volleyball, pet walk, etc.).

If you enjoy cooking and sharing, then you can make the kitchen mostly your domain, because I'm not well trained on cooking and seldom bother trying. Guys who cook and share are nice, and get head of the line as I interview applicants, lol. If you enjoy cooking for both of us, then I typically pay for 2/3 of the cooking groceries and am good at helping with dishes.
Naturally, I expect help with the general housecleaning on a regular basis, because I hate being the one who does it all the time. I'm clean but not obsessive/compulsive about it. This is probably a pet peeve of mine, if a roommate doesn't help with cleaning then I can't live with him.
