A Weight Loss Counselor is responsible for providing the one-on-one counseling and service to center clients who have enrolled in the Medifast Weight Control Center program to achieve their weight loss goals.

Duties Include:
- Encouraging and educating clients through their weight loss process and long term weight control success.
- Developing individualized programs for clients as needed to achieve results.
- Motivating clients, and celebrating successes.
- Helping clients plan for life events and overcoming all obstacles in their quest to finally reach their weight loss goals.
- Maintain weekly communication with clients.
- Meeting personal and center sales goals.
- Working modified retail hours, and most Saturdays.

Required Skills / Experience:
- Nutrition, Dietician or Counseling educational background highly preferred.
- Any type of motivational, transformational counseling
- Positive and motivating attitude
- Some sales experience - over the phone and in person
- Competent with computers and phone systems
- High personal energy and enthusiasm for helping people!

Successful candidates in the past have come from the following vocations:

- Health and Fitness Training
- Dieticians and Nutritional Counseling
