GROWING WHOLESALE SEAFOOD COMPANY has immediate openings for permanent full-time and part-time drivers to deliver fine quality seafood products to hotels, restaurants, and retail stores located throughout San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura Counties. Come join our team! Warehouse is located and route begins each day in San Diego (Mission Valley). These positions deliver pre-ordered seafood products to existing wholesale customers only. It does not include making sales calls, sales to the general public, handling cash, or compensation by commission. Deliveries are made using company vehicles only.
STARTING PAY: $11-13/ per hour (depending on experience). For those meeting QUALIFICATIONS (below), no experience is necessary.
HOURS: Full-time and part-time Monday-Saturday. Work begins at 5:00-7:00AM each day and ends when deliveries are completed (usually 3:00PM but varies).
VEHICLES: Deliveries are made with company vehicles (refrigerated cargo vans & bobtail trucks). No special license is needed/required.
QUALIFICATIONS: Ideal candidates will have: (1) Outstanding customer service skills; (2) A clean and professional appearance; (3) A clean driving record and DMV print out; (4) Familiarity with the freeways and areas of Southern California; (5) Outstanding references; (6) Proficiency with reading Thomas Brothers maps and directions; and (7) The physical ability to safely lift 60.00 pounds.
