Profit is 'the excess of returns over expenditure in a transaction or series of transactions' [http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/profit] while graft is 'the practice of obtaining money by taking advantage of one's position' [http://www.thefreedictionary.com/dict.asp?Word=graft].
Governments are run on graft, not profit.
Your allusion to Adam Smith notwithstanding, there is no free market. Our economy has become debt based, not profit driven. [Fiat currency and the Federal Reserve have seen to that]. An authoritarian government is, by necessity, 'big government'--- and neo-cons like you are it's biggest proponents. Our Country is great not because of its ill-gotten gains but because of the ennobling ideas set forth by it's founders; ideas which are at odds at every turn with those you espouse. [As are your appeals to a Christianity you nominally uphold with words but utterly betray with demeanor].
It's not so much the anachronistic views you hold that are so vile but the vulgar invective with which you express them. Hopefully you aren't as irrational and intractable in real life as you act here. It would be a shame for any third grader to have such an ignorant and surly curmudgeon as a role model.
