What does this issue have to do with religion? Nothing.
What does "being Christian" have to do with this? Well, nothing if you're not Christian. But I'll bet you tell your friends, family and even yourself that you are a Good Christian... but you have no compassion or understanding for others. Is that being a good Christian? Since I'm not one, I can only by my limited understanding of the religion / philosophy, that whold "love thy neighbor" thing seems to be pretty clear about compassion/generosity, right? Or are you a Bush Christian, a "Jesus Likes Torture" Christian?
Then again, you might not be any kind of Christian. But then I still wouldn't understand your lack of understanding because, you see, I'm a *nice guy*. But that's me, not you. Feel free to live your life as an angry prick; You're not gonna be alone.
