About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced graphic designer who can work closely with their creative manager in the creation and execution of corporate and brand identities, print collateral, publication ads, direct mail, event signage, web collateral, electronic/e-mail marketing, and a heavy emphasis on interface design.
The Graphic Designer is required to consistently exercise good judgment and make independent decisions regarding appropriate design elements, possess strong concept, communication, and problem-solving skills. The candidate must be able to interpret creative briefs and business objectives to deliver relevant design solutions. It's important that this candidate collaborate with other designers and developers to produce and deliver required artwork exactly as expressed.
EFM Graphic Designer Profile:
A team player willing to work on-site
4-year degree in Art/Graphic Design-related field
3+ years of real-world graphic design experience
Expert in Quark, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Image Ready, Acrobat, Fireworks, Freehand, Word, and Powerpoint
Strong conceptual skills in layout and design
Pre-press preparation skills and attention to detail a MUST
Excellent print and web graphics knowledge with experience from design to finished product
Maintains a high level of organization and follow-through
Strong communication and team-oriented skills
Illustration skills a plus.
